Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions
Everything guests usually ask before a stay, a day outing, an offsite or a wedding at Ananta — grouped by topic. If your question isn't here, our team is a call or message away.
Stay & Rooms
We have three categories: The Canopy Room (₹9,800/night), a garden-facing king room with a rain shower and reading nook — our most-booked; The Verandah Suite (₹14,500/night), with a private sit-out, a stone soaking tub and a daybed; and The Family Cottage (₹21,000/night), two bedrooms around a shared living space for larger families.
Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or a late check-out can often be arranged depending on occupancy — just ask when you book or write to us a day in advance.
Not at present. Between the working kitchen garden, the spring-fed pond and the wildlife that visits the grounds, we've held off on a pet policy so far. If this changes, we'll update this page.
Yes. The Family Cottage, the kids' play area, indoor games and a menu that doesn't require special ordering all make it an easy stay with children. High chairs and extra bedding are available on request.
Yes, all rooms are air-conditioned with complimentary WiFi. Coverage is strongest near the rooms and the lawns; it thins out in a few pockets deeper in the gardens, which most guests seem to appreciate rather than mind.
Pure Vegetarian Dining
Yes, entirely. Every kitchen on the property — the main restaurant, in-room dining and event catering — is strictly pure vegetarian, with produce sourced largely from our own kitchen garden.
No. As a pure-vegetarian resort we don't serve or permit alcohol on the property, including at private events and celebrations. We're happy to flag this upfront so it doesn't come as a surprise while planning a wedding or party.
Yes. Our kitchen prepares Jain and no onion-garlic meals on request — just mention it at booking or tell your server at the table, and the kitchen will adjust.
Breakfast is included with every room booking. Lunch and dinner can be added as a fixed meal plan at the time of booking or ordered a la carte during your stay.
Ayurveda & Wellness
Guests can book Abhyanga oil massage, herbal steam therapy, guided meditation, and a personalised consultation with our resident Ayurvedic physician. Sunrise and sunset yoga on the open-air deck is included for overnight guests.
We'd recommend it, especially on weekends when therapist slots fill up fast. You can book a session when you reserve your room, or through the front desk once you've checked in, subject to availability.
Sunrise and sunset yoga is included for overnight guests. Day outing guests can add a guided yoga or wellness session as a paid add-on to their package.
Day Outing
Pool access, lawn games and a meal are included in every package, with the exact meal depending on the time window you pick — plus optional add-ons like rain dance or a wellness session. No room booking is required.
We run five day outing windows: Morning (9 AM–6 PM), Lunch (11 AM–6 PM), Dusk (4 PM–10 PM), Noon-to-Night (11 AM–10 PM) and Full Day (9 AM–10 PM), each with a different combination of meals included. Full pricing is on our Day Outing page.
We ask guests not to, mainly so our pure-vegetarian standard stays consistent across the property. Lunch is included in the package, and additional food or beverages can be ordered on-site through the day.
Corporate & Team Outings
We host teams from 10 to 150 people. Our two meeting spaces each seat up to 40 in a boardroom layout; for larger theatre-style sessions or a full team gathering, we set up on the lawn.
Yes. Both meeting spaces come with conference-ready AV, projector and reliable WiFi. Let us know your setup needs — screen size, mic count, breakout rooms — and we'll have it ready before your team arrives.
Yes. We put together outdoor and indoor formats based on group size and goals, from light lawn games to structured team-building sessions run by our activities team, alongside the usual campfire and dinner in the evening.
Weddings & Celebrations
Yes. Our 6,000 sq.ft. open lawn under a row of old rain trees comfortably holds around 250 guests for a reception-style event, or roughly 150 for a seated dinner. We also host engagements, sangeet functions and multi-day wedding weekends.
Outside decorators are welcome with prior coordination with our events team. Catering has to stay in-house, since every kitchen on the property — including for private events — is strictly pure vegetarian.
Booking & Cancellation
The quickest way is through the Book Now page, or by calling or messaging us on WhatsApp. For corporate offsites, weddings and larger groups, it's usually faster to send an enquiry through the contact form so our events team can call you back with a tailored quote.
Stays cancelled 7 or more days before check-in receive a full refund; cancellations within 7 days are subject to a one-night charge. Full details are on our Cancellation Policy page.
Yes, a partial advance — usually 25 to 50 percent of the total — confirms a room or package booking, with the balance settled at check-in. Corporate and wedding bookings may follow a separate payment schedule agreed with our events team.
